Coverston, 22, was found dead on Feb. 14, 2009, in his off-campus apartment while he was recovering from retinal surgery and resting face down as his doctor had ordered. More than a decade later the case remains open, and relatives say they are still waiting for the tip that finally breaks it.

Callers may remain anonymous.

Investigators are still zeroing in on a detail from the afternoon Coverston was killed: a phone call he received from a pay phone that once stood on Loch Raven Boulevard near Belvedere Avenue. Detectives believe the caller may have entered the apartment shortly afterward, according to WMAR.
