What Police Say
Houston police said the teen was standing outside in front of a residence on Nyssa Street when a white pickup truck pulled up. People inside the truck interacted with him, and at some point, a shot was fired, striking the 15-year-old, according to officials. As reported by ABC13, HPD Lt. Larry Crowson said the suspects took off in a white Ford pickup and that the teen was shot in the chest. He is expected to survive.
