
A late-night argument in South Los Angeles turned violent early Wednesday when a man was shot and rushed to the hospital, authorities said. Officers responding shortly after 2 a.m. found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Los Angeles Fire Department crews transported him to a nearby hospital, where officials described his condition as stable.
What Police Say
According to MyNewsLA, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service that officers from the department’s 77th Division arrived at 81st Street and Stanford Avenue and learned that the victim and suspect had been arguing when one of the men pulled a gun and opened fire. The suspect ran from the scene, and police had not released any suspect information, the outlet reported.
