A 58-year-old man was shot Saturday night on the 2400 block of Garrett Avenue in Baltimore, leaving detectives working to piece together what happened. Police say the man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Officers responded to the block around 9:15 p.m., and medics took the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment as investigators opened an inquiry into the shooting.
According to FOX45, officers arrived after receiving calls about shots being fired and found the man at the scene, confirming he was 58 years old. The station reports that detectives are canvassing the area for witnesses and evidence, and that officials described the victim’s injuries as not life-threatening.
