A man is clinging to life in a Brooklyn hospital after being shot inside a Gates Avenue building in Bedford-Stuyvesant just after 5 p.m. Friday, according to police. Investigators say he suffered multiple gunshot wounds and remains in critical condition.
According to News 12 Brooklyn, the gunfire erupted inside 650 Gates Ave shortly after 5 p.m. Officers told the outlet the victim was hit in the stomach, right leg and buttocks. EMS rushed him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he is listed in critical condition. The NYPD said a firearm was recovered at the scene as detectives processed the building for evidence.
