Prince George's County police have identified the moped rider who died days after a weekend crash as 28-year-old Edwin Castillo-Jiminez of Hyattsville. Investigators say he lost control of his moped late Saturday near Bladensburg Road and 40th Place in Brentwood and collided with a pickup truck. He was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries on March 17. The people inside the pickup truck were not hurt.

According to FOX 5 DC, the collision happened at about 10:20 p.m. Saturday, when police say Castillo-Jiminez "lost control" and struck the pickup near the intersection. He was taken to a hospital after the crash and later died of his injuries on March 17.
