A late-night drive in Marine Park turned violent early Sunday when a 20-year-old man was carjacked and beaten by a trio of thieves on Flatbush Avenue, according to police. Officers say the group pulled a gun on the victim, hit him in the face, and took off in his car. He was later taken to a hospital, where officials say he is in stable condition.
As reported by News 12 New York, investigators say the attack happened around 3 a.m., when three people approached the victim. One suspect allegedly brandished a firearm, and the group then struck the man before speeding away in his vehicle. Police have released only limited descriptions so far, noting that one suspect wore a green shirt and another a white shirt.

The NYPD is asking for help tracking down the carjacking crew.
