Cafe Dojo, a new coffee shop in the works for Denver's Ballpark District, is gearing up to open within easy walking distance of Coors Field. Recent permit activity points to the shop taking over a street-level suite at 2907 N Huron St., part of a run of storefronts already home to restaurants and service businesses. For now, the business is keeping things close to the vest: its web page is a simple "Launching Soon" landing screen with an email sign-up, and there is still no posted menu or firm opening date.
Remodeling Plans Filed For Huron Street Space
As reported by What Now Denver, a construction permit filed with the city lists Cafe Dojo as remodeling Unit 105 at 2907 N Huron St., identifying Michael Shapiro as the owner. The same permit notes that the suite was previously occupied by The Bare Bar waxing salon.
Neighbors And Foot Traffic
LoopNet lists co-tenants at 2904–2907, Huron as Da Sauce, Tokio and At The Shop Denver, and notes that the property sits blocks from Coors Field and McGregor Square. That cluster of restaurants, barbershops and small retailers suggests a mix of game-day crowds and steady neighborhood foot traffic that could support a daytime coffee operation.
What The Owners Have Said So Far
Cafe Dojo currently displays a "Launching Soon" page and collects email addresses for soft-launch notifications, but does not yet share a menu, hours or a formal opening date. What Now Denver also reports that it has reached out to Cafe Dojo for comment and plans to update when more information becomes available.
What To Expect
A small, daytime coffee operation on this Ballpark strip will likely set its sights on game-day visitors and residents in the nearby apartment towers, while also serving workers in the surrounding blocks. For now, Denver coffee drinkers who are curious about the new spot can drop an email address into the landing page and wait for word on soft launches and menu details.
