
Colorado Springs police have publicly identified the man who died after a late February crash on Crestone Lane as 67-year-old Michael Davis. The collision happened just after 10 p.m. on Feb. 26 in the 400 block of Crestone Lane, near Motor World Parkway, according to officials.
Police: Victim Struck By His Own Vehicle
When officers arrived, they found a vehicle traveling down a hillside between Crestone Lane and Motor World Parkway. Early information from the scene indicated that the sole occupant, later identified as Davis, had been struck by his own vehicle. He was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries. The El Paso County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity as 67-year-old Michael Davis, and investigators say the cause of the crash is still under review, according to KKTV.

Detectives are asking anyone who might have seen something, or who has information about the collision, to contact the Colorado Springs Police Department or Crime Stoppers. Police say they plan to release more details as the investigation moves forward.
