A 34-year-old Oakland Park man is in the Broward County Main Jail after deputies say he carried on a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl over roughly two years in North Lauderdale.
According to investigators, the encounters took place between 2020 and 2022 and came to light after the girl told her father about what was happening. Deputies arrested Adlin Saint Amour in Broward County on Friday, and he remains in custody pending court action.
Deputies told Local 10 that Saint Amour would routinely pick the victim up around 12:45 a.m. on Saturdays, drive her to his home in Oakland Park, have sexual intercourse with her, then return her before her father woke up for work. Investigators say the girl was 13 when the relationship began and that the two also exchanged naked video chats. Deputies reportedly recovered photos that show the victim sent nude images to Saint Amour’s phone.
Jail records list “six counts of promoting sexual activity of a victim 16 years old or younger,” and as of Saturday afternoon Saint Amour was being held on a $90,000 bond, according to Local 10. The arrest report states the last alleged encounter happened on Nov. 26, 2022, when deputies say Saint Amour fell asleep and did not bring the victim back until about 6 a.m. Investigators say the victim later disclosed the relationship to her father during an interview in December 2022.
Extradition proceedings in Canada
Before his return to Florida, Saint Amour had already drawn attention from Canadian authorities. Earlier reporting in Quebec said he had been arrested there and faced extradition to the United States on similar allegations. As reported by TVA Nouvelles, Quebec judges ordered him detained in October 2025 while the federal government considered an extradition request.
What happens next
Saint Amour’s case will now work its way through Broward County’s court system, where prosecutors or the state attorney’s office will decide on formal charges and the timing of an arraignment. Bond and booking records show his current hold, although additional court dates or filings were not immediately available.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit has been identified as the lead on the investigation. Officials say anyone with information related to the case can contact that unit.
