
Sunday morning in southeast Houston turned violent when a man opened fire during a fight at 1107 Danube Street, leaving three people wounded and a suspect in custody, according to police.
Investigators say the gunfire started around 8:25 a.m., when the man shot a woman during an argument at the home. Moments later, the same suspect allegedly shot two men who arrived at the scene. All three victims were taken to an area hospital and are expected to survive, and the Houston Police Department's Major Assaults Division is now leading the case.
HPD told ABC13 Houston that the suspect was detained at or near the Danube Street address. Authorities did not immediately release the suspect's name. The station's account tracks with the department's timeline that the two men were shot after they arrived at the home.
