According to What Now, a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing lists a Dos Gatos project at 1104 I-35 N Frontage Road in San Marcos. The outlet reports it confirmed the plan with co-owner Chase Katz, who said "it is impossible at this permitting stage to project an opening date" and noted that the build is slated to include a drive-thru lane along with space for customers to sit and eat. For the moment, the bakery is concentrating on permits and design details rather than racing into construction.
What They Make and Where They Started
Dos Gatos started in 2009, founded by brothers Seth and Chase Katz, and now runs two San Marcos locations plus a recently opened shop in New Braunfels, according to the Dos Gatos website.
