“We opened up Alamo Hot Dog Co. in May of 2008,” Tristan told MySA in a 2010 interview. The stand’s signature Hog Dog, an all-beef kosher hot dog wrapped in low-sodium bacon and loaded with onions, jalapeños, and bell peppers, helped the cart build a devoted following across downtown long before the latest Main Plaza hints.
