
A man with a gunshot wound crashed his car into trees in the West Allis Police Department parking lot near 114th Street and Lincoln Avenue on Thursday afternoon, turning the edge of the station grounds into an active crime scene, as reported by WISN.
Police were notified just before 1:45 p.m., and West Allis officers along with fire department personnel treated the man at the scene before he was taken to a hospital. Authorities say he was the only occupant of the vehicle and that an investigation is underway.

According to WISN, officers arrived to find the vehicle lodged in trees in the department's parking lot shortly after the 1:45 p.m. call on March 12. First responders provided on-scene treatment before the man was transported to a hospital, and there was no immediate update on his condition.
