
A stretch of South Durango Drive turned into an active crime scene Tuesday night after Las Vegas police responded to reports of a death in the 8900 block near Pebble Road. Homicide detectives worked late at the scene while Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department units stayed posted in the area, and officials said they expected to share more information in the following hours.

Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 8900 block of South Durango Drive, near Pebble Road, and classified the incident as a homicide, according to News 3 LV. Reporters at the scene described detectives canvassing the neighborhood and processing evidence while nearby streets were restricted. Metro did not immediately release the name of any victim or announce arrests.
