Emma Chamberlain is taking her caffeine empire offline and straight into Venice. During an appearance on The Tonight Show, she revealed that Chamberlain Coffee is opening its first standalone café on Abbot Kinney Boulevard this spring, a sit-and-stay spot with a retail corner and limited-edition merch instead of just another grab-and-go window.
The announcement on the late-night show marks what the company is calling a new chapter for the brand she launched six years ago, according to the Santa Monica Daily Press. The paper reports that the Venice location will be a clear step up from the brand's earlier mall kiosk, with actual seating, ceramics, and a snack corner stocked with some of Chamberlain's personal favorites.
Design And Menu Focus On Lingering
The space was developed by Chamberlain in collaboration with designers Marie Trohman and Ashley Drost of Proem Studio, pairing marble counters, retro touches, and warm woods with the brand's signature blue, the Santa Monica Daily Press reports. "Coffee shops were such an important part of my life growing up, and creating a space where people can come together, hang out, and enjoy really good coffee feels incredibly special," Chamberlain said in the interview.
From Online Brand To Brick-And-Mortar
Chamberlain Coffee has steadily moved from being an online-only operation to real-world spaces. The company launched a grab-and-go kiosk at Westfield Century City last year that drew long weekend lines, according to the Los Angeles Times. The brand's own about page traces its origins back to Chamberlain's early YouTube coffee recipes and outlines its evolution into a national retail line.
What Venice Will Get
Abbot Kinney has long been a magnet for boutiques and buzzy restaurants, and Chamberlain's café is set to add another celebrity-driven destination to the strip. The new shop, slated to open this spring, is aiming to merge Emma's built-in fan energy with the neighborhood's established coffee culture.
