
A deadly scene unfolded Wednesday afternoon in Pittsburgh’s Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood, where a man was found shot to death on Fenway Alley, according to city officials. The victim had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police cordoned off the alley while investigators moved through the area.
In a social media alert, Pittsburgh Public Safety said detectives were investigating and that the Crime Scene Unit was processing evidence at the scene. Authorities did not release any information about possible suspects or a motive, according to CBS Pittsburgh.

Marshall-Shadeland, on Pittsburgh’s North Side, has seen a range of violent and weapon-related incidents in recent years. The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police 2024 annual statistical report lists the neighborhood among those with notable counts of assaults and weapon-law violations as the department shifted to NIBRS reporting, which can affect year-to-year totals, according to the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.
