Investigation and arrest
Officers initially responded to multiple calls reporting shots fired near 4th and C and discovered physical evidence consistent with a shooting, but no injured individuals. According to FOX40, follow-up work by Galt detectives led them to a Sacramento residence, where they found more evidence and several people. Police say the adult man arrested at that address was booked on an unrelated charge and has not been publicly tied to the reported gunfire in Galt.
