
What started as a routine boot-out at a Gravesend restaurant turned violent late Saturday night, when a customer allegedly returned with a gun and opened fire inside El Cerrito del Carmen, wounding two people and sending diners scrambling for the exits.
According to the New York Post, the trouble began around 10 p.m. after a bartender asked a patron to leave for acting disorderly. The customer reportedly walked out, then came back and started shooting. A 29-year-old man was hit in the arm, and a 27-year-old woman was grazed in the back. First responders rushed both victims to the hospital for treatment.
