
Early Tuesday on Cleveland’s East Side, a burst of gunfire inside the Good Times Cafe turned a neighborhood bar into an active crime scene, but police say no one was hit. Officers raced to the 3300 block of East 55th Street around 1 a.m., finding multiple shell casings as they moved through the business and surrounding area looking for witnesses.
The Cleveland Division of Police has kept the scene open while detectives work the case, gathering evidence and trying to piece together who pulled the trigger and why.

What police say
According to WOIO, scanner chatter shared by a local reporter indicated shots were fired inside the Good Times Club. When officers arrived, they did not find any gunshot victims, but they did locate several shell casings.
WOIO reports that the Cleveland Division of Police has opened an active investigation. Detectives are canvassing the area and checking for any surveillance video that might show what happened in the moments before and after the shots rang out.
