
A shooting in north Charlotte on Sunday left one person in critical condition, according to emergency crews. Medics rushed the victim to a hospital with life-threatening wounds while police secured the area and opened an investigation. Authorities said they had not yet released details about what led up to the gunfire, and no arrests had been announced.
According to WCNC, the shooting was reported in the 3600 block of Frew Road, and MEDIC confirmed one person was transported with life-threatening injuries. WCNC reported that officers and MEDIC remained on scene as investigators collected evidence and spoke with witnesses.
