The Denver Police Department issued a crime alert on its X account on Saturday, urging anyone who knows something about the shooting to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers, according to Denver Police. The alert lists the case number as 26-126691 and asks for tips that could help identify the suspect.

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers says tips can be shared by calling 720-913-STOP (7867) or by filing a report online, and that tipsters can stay anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000, per Metro Denver Crime Stoppers. The group also offers an online portal for anonymous submissions and features special reward cases on its website.
Suspect description and case
According to the alert, the suspect is described as a tall Black male with long dreadlocks who was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and black pants, and the reported scene of the shooting is the intersection of 27th Street and Larimer Street. The alert notes that the tip line is staffed around the clock and again cites the case number as 26-126691.
