A 24-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Sunday evening near 82nd Street and Brown Deer Road, according to Milwaukee police. The gunfire broke out around 5:50 p.m. on March 29, and the victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. According to FOX6 News Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Police Department said officers were called to the area shortly before 6 p.m. for a report of a shooting. The area around 82nd and Brown Deer Road has been the backdrop for other violence in recent months.
