Emergency crews were called just before 8 p.m. to the 3800 block of Parkdale Drive off I‑10 West, where officers found the teen with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was taken to a local hospital in stable condition after callers reported that multiple shots had been fired.

According to News 4 San Antonio, witnesses told police they heard about five gunshots before officers discovered the teen, who had been hit once in the abdomen.
