Shawarma fans on the Preston Road corridor are about to get another option. Sheesh Kitchen, a halal-certified, fast-casual Mediterranean spot that got its start in McKinney, is set to open a Frisco location in the Preston Stonebrook shopping center. The menu will stick to the greatest hits: shaved beef and chicken shawarma, gyros, falafel, build-your-own bowls and loaded fries, all finished with the house Sheesh sauce. The expansion helps round out Frisco’s growing lineup of halal-certified choices along Preston Road.
Menu and halal certification
According to Community Impact, the Frisco outpost is slated to serve halal-certified beef and chicken shawarma, gyros, falafel, build-your-own bowls and plate options, plus loaded fries and the cubed "Sheesh potatoes." Community Impact lists the new spot as opening in 2026 and includes the Preston Road address within the shopping center, while directing readers to the restaurant’s website for deeper menu details.
From McKinney to Frisco
The business began in McKinney and continues to operate there, according to the restaurant’s site, which lays out its original address and hours. The online menu for Sheesh Kitchen highlights Saj-wrapped shawarmas, customizable bowls and the signature Sheesh sauce that anchors its loaded-fries concept. Owners have not posted a firm Frisco opening date on the company site yet, so exact hours and any soft-opening timeline are still to be announced.
Location confirmed in leasing materials
Leasing documents for Preston Stonebrook Center back up the expansion plans, explicitly listing Sheesh Kitchen as a tenant in suite 151A on the property’s site plan. A brochure from VentureDFW shows the tenant lineup and sizes the Sheesh Kitchen space at about 1,400 square feet. The leasing materials do not include a public opening date or any lease terms.
What this adds to Frisco's food map
Frisco has been collecting new restaurants at a steady clip, with more international and niche concepts finding their way to the city. The Dallas Morning News has cataloged many of those recent arrivals, and Sheesh Kitchen’s planned debut adds a halal Mediterranean option to that roster. Locals looking to line up their first shawarma run will want to keep an eye on the restaurant’s website and the local business press for the official opening announcement.
