According to the Houston Chronicle, a permit filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation lists the project as converting existing warehouse space into a Handies Douzo. That filing spells out the roughly $350,000 budget, the mid June to November construction window, and names 1107 Hutchins St as the address for the proposed restaurant. The Hutchins address sits inside the East Blocks redevelopment, a multi-block adaptive reuse project that is transforming old EaDo warehouses into retail, office space, and green areas.
