A stabbing on a closely watched stretch of Sullivant Avenue left one person dead and another in handcuffs Wednesday in Columbus' Hilltop neighborhood, according to police.
Officers were called to the 1700 block of Sullivant Avenue on Wednesday morning and found a wounded person at the scene. The victim was taken to a hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. A suspect was detained at the scene, authorities said.
As reported by WBNS, a Columbus Division of Police sergeant confirmed that officers responded to the block, the victim was transported to a hospital and did not survive, and a suspect was taken into custody.
