According to West Orlando News, Gaspar bought the lucky ticket at the 7-Eleven at 765 S. Broad Street in Brooksville, then made the trek to Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee to claim his prize on Oct. 8. The one-time payment came out to a check for $1,172,000, as reported by AOL.

The Scorching Hot 7s ticket runs $10 and was loaded with four $2 million top prizes when it launched; two of those top prizes are still up for grabs.
