Portland police have released new images of a man they say is tied to a run of convenience-store robberies and are asking anyone who recognizes him to speak up.
According to City of Portland, detectives believe the same suspect is connected to five robberies in October 2025 across northeast, north and southeast Portland. The bureau distributed a clear photo and an ID-style poster that show a man in a dark hoodie and khaki pants.
The reported locations span several busy corridors: the 6000 block of Northeast Halsey Street, the 6400 block of Southeast Foster Road, the 2000 block of North Killingsworth Street, the 4000 block of Southeast 39th Avenue and the 10300 block of Southeast Holgate Boulevard, according to City of Portland. Investigators say they hope the images jog the memories of customers, passersby or business owners who might have seen something or captured the suspect on camera.
"PPB appreciates the public's assistance in helping keep our community safe," the bureau said in its news release, as reported by City of Portland. Anyone with information is asked to email [email protected] and reference case number 25-286303. The release also directs tipsters to an online form where they can submit information directly to detectives.
How to report tips and footage
Police are urging residents and business owners to hold onto any relevant security video or photos, and to keep the original files along with exact timestamps before sharing them. For those who want to stay in the background, Crime Stoppers of Oregon accepts anonymous tips and may offer rewards in some cases, according to the FBI. Investigators say the case is still active and no arrests have been made.
What detectives are looking for
Detectives are particularly interested in receipts, timestamped surveillance clips, vehicle descriptions and witness accounts that could place the same person at more than one of the robbery scenes. They note that seemingly minor details, like which direction the suspect walked away, a partial license plate number or the time printed on a receipt, can help link locations and push the investigation forward.
