What started as an ordinary Friday night drive ended in tragedy at one of southeast Lancaster’s key intersections, when a two-vehicle crash at South Memorial Drive and Sugar Grove Road left a woman dead, police said.
Officers and emergency crews were called to the scene at about 7:30 p.m. The victim, a woman, was pronounced dead from her injuries, according to police. The intersection was closed into the evening while investigators documented the wreck and cleared the scene.
