A house party near Jones Boulevard and Flamingo Road turned deadly Thursday night when gunfire broke out, killing a man, according to Las Vegas police. Multiple callers reported shots in the 4300 block of Brookhaven Drive, and medical personnel rushed a wounded man to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Detectives said the victim had been at a house party in the area before the shooting.

Police said an exchange took place before shots were fired and struck the victim. Authorities said medical personnel transported the victim to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
