A late-night homicide is under investigation in northwest Las Vegas after police responded Monday to the 5800 block of Sky Pointe Drive, near Tropical Parkway and Tenaya Way. Detectives worked the scene into the night as officers secured the area, but so far officials are keeping a tight lid on details about the victim and any possible suspect.

According to FOX5 Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed it was responding to a homicide in the area and released a photo showing officers at the scene. The station labeled the incident a developing story and reported that authorities did not provide any additional information late Monday.
