A late-night stabbing in an Oxnard parking lot left a 22-year-old man in surgery and two local men in handcuffs, authorities said. The victim showed up at St. John's Regional Medical Center in the early hours of March 12 with multiple stab wounds to his lower torso. Investigators later identified 19-year-old Diego Arellano and 18-year-old Alexis Arellano as suspects and arrested them in separate operations this month. Police say the man's injuries are serious but not life-threatening, and the case is still very much open.

Police say Alexis Arellano was detained on March 13 after a brief foot chase, while Diego Arellano was taken into custody on March 17 during follow-up investigative work.
