Zalat Pizza has fired up its ovens in Town Center Colleyville, bringing the chain’s late-night pies to the north side of Colleyville Boulevard and adding something new for the brand: a small spot to sit and stay awhile. The new outpost moved into the suite that previously housed RedBrick Pizza and is now taking orders for pickup and delivery.
According to Community Impact, the Colleyville shop quietly opened last Monday at 5615 Colleyville Blvd., Ste. 310. Staff told the outlet the restaurant has limited dining-room seating, a slight shift from Zalat’s usual takeout-first model.
What Zalat Is Serving
The menu sticks to Zalat’s playful, over-the-top style. Regulars will recognize pies like the Zealot, the chain’s spin on a classic supreme, the Loaded Notato and the Chicken Teriyaki. Those staples and more are highlighted on the chain’s online menu, per Zalat Pizza, which also notes that specialty flavors and late-night offerings rotate in and out.
Town Center Changeover
Per a Sterling Organization leasing brochure for Town Center Colleyville, Zalat was slotted into unit 310, a roughly 1,800-square-foot space, as the center continues to refresh its dining lineup. The Town Center website and local business directories list RedBrick Pizza as the former tenant in the suite, which helps explain how another pizza operator was able to slide in with a relatively quick build-out.
Why It Matters
The Colleyville debut folds into Zalat’s broader Dallas-Fort Worth expansion, with the company listing about 30 DFW locations on its website. Earlier reporting by Community Impact noted that founder Khanh Nguyen said the Colleyville restaurant would include limited in-store dining, a tweak that could help turn this outpost into more of a neighborhood hangout than some of the chain’s strictly takeout-focused shops.
