
One person was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing Friday night near the intersection of West Tyvola Road and North Falls Drive in southwest Charlotte, according to local emergency crews. MEDIC arrived shortly after the call came in and took the victim to a nearby hospital. Police have not released any description of a suspect or a possible motive while they process the scene.
WSOC-TV reports that MEDIC was dispatched to the intersection around 10 p.m. Friday, and officials told the station the patient was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The station noted that no other information was immediately available as the investigation continued.
