Mandalay Bay is turning its pool deck into a full-blown sports party this spring. DAYLIGHT Beach Club will transform into the Tailgate Beach Club starting May 16, flipping its resort-style scene into a splashy watch-party zone with cabanas, big screens and Snoop Dogg headlining opening day. Expect tailgate-style eats, stadium-scale viewing and a setup built for cheering more than chilling as the Strip keeps leaning hard into fan culture for pool season.
According to Las Vegas Weekly, the rebrand officially debuts on May 16 with a performance by Snoop Dogg. Clique Hospitality founder Andy Masi said in a statement, "We created a venue where sports energy and shared fan culture come together in a way that feels uniquely Las Vegas."
Who is behind it
Clique Hospitality, the Las Vegas outfit that runs DAYLIGHT Beach Club and several other Strip hotspots, will operate Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay, according to Clique Hospitality. DAYLIGHT already anchors Mandalay Bay's beach complex, and the seasonal shift will turn that existing footprint into a sports-first pop-up concept, per the venue site for DAYLIGHT Beach Club.
What to expect
The Tailgate Beach Club makeover leans all the way into game-day culture. Guests will find more than 125 feet of LED screens, three heated pools, live DJs and premium cabanas stocked with video game consoles, beer pong and foosball, all arranged to turn a sunny afternoon into a loud, all-eyes-on-the-scoreboard fan zone, Las Vegas Weekly reports.
The food and drink lineup keeps the tailgate theme going, with menu items such as a mini Philly cheesesteak, an MVP slider tray and a Paloma Twist cocktail that can be ordered for cabana and group service.
Why it matters
Tailgate Beach Club signals how Strip venues are doubling down on shared sports viewing experiences, turning pool decks into something that feels closer to a stadium section with water. Operators are tapping into sports culture to stretch the high season and give fans another place to huddle up when the big games hit. Reservations, cabana bookings and any event tickets will run through DAYLIGHT's booking page, so fans eyeing opening weekend will want to keep an eye on the club's site for details.
