
A routine Tuesday evening on the Upper East Side turned violent when a man shoved a 65-year-old woman to the ground, leaving her with a broken wrist, police said. The assault took place on the sidewalk near 150 East 86th Street at about 6:20 p.m., and the woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to investigators. The suspect took off on foot and has not been identified.
As reported by PIX11, the NYPD said the man allegedly pushed the woman, causing her to fall and break her wrist. Police have not released any description or other identifying details for the suspect, and the investigation remains active.
