
A 34-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday in Chicago's West Town neighborhood, in a quiet alley that suddenly turned into a crime scene, police said. The shooting happened at about 12:40 a.m. in the 1600 block of West Ohio Street near Ashland Avenue, where responding officers found the man in an alley with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital, where he later died. Detectives have opened a homicide investigation.
