
A routine Muni ride through San Francisco's Mission District turned violent yesterday when a woman was stabbed aboard a bus, rattling passengers and triggering a swift police response. Officers from Mission Station found the injured rider near Mission and 13th streets around 1:30 PM, and paramedics took her to a hospital for treatment. Authorities have not yet released details on how serious her injuries are.

According to KTVU, San Francisco police said Mission Station officers responded to a report of a stabbing on a bus and located the victim on board. The department has described the case as an open and active investigation, and as of now, no arrests have been made.
