Krak Boba, the Southern California boba chain, has quietly tipped its hand that it is heading to Las Vegas, slipping a "Coming Soon" location onto its website even though there is still no public address or opening date. The brand’s build-your-own milk and fruit teas have helped fuel a quick franchise push outside California, and locals are already on alert for a grand-opening announcement.
In a Friday report, What Now Las Vegas noted that the company has not revealed where in the valley the shop will land and said it reached out to owner Tin Do but did not hear back. The outlet highlighted menu standouts such as CocaThai Butterfly, Seaside Green Thai Tea and Brown Sugar Milk Tea, and added that Krak also pours coffee and blends smoothies. According to the same report, Krak is expected to make its Las Vegas debut sometime this year.
Per Krak Boba's locations page, Las Vegas appears on the brand’s map with a "Coming Soon" label, and the site encourages fans to join the Krak Circle rewards program for updates. The company’s Las Vegas storefront page repeats its mission statement, "At Krak Boba, we believe in finding the strength that's already within you," but still lists no hours, phone number or lease details.
From SoCal Favorite To National Rollout
Krak has been on an aggressive expansion streak in recent years, opening dozens of franchised shops in multiple states and leaning into high-energy grand openings. Trade outlet Fast Casual recently highlighted the chain’s surge in 2024, while Hoodline’s coverage in 13th store fanfare documents the giveaways and promotions that typically come with Krak openings. That franchise momentum helps explain why the brand is now plotting a Las Vegas debut.
How It Fits Into Las Vegas
Las Vegas’ bubble-tea scene has grown into a mix of national chains and small independents, so Krak will be stepping into a crowded but receptive market. The Las Vegas Review-Journal has covered other chain debuts in recent years, underscoring that there is steady demand here for recognizable boba concepts.
What To Watch For
Until Krak Boba posts a lease filing or confirms an address, the clearest signs to watch will be a company announcement or a public permit or filing. Both local reporting and the brand’s own site point to a Las Vegas debut sometime this year but stop short of giving specific timing. This story will be updated once Krak confirms a location or sets a grand-opening date.
