
A Saturday night shooting in a north Raleigh subdivision left one man fighting for his life after he was found with at least one gunshot wound and rushed to a nearby hospital, according to police.
Raleigh officers were called to the 8200 block of Merriweather Circle in the Berkshire Downs West neighborhood off Perry Creek Road, where they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital with critical, life‑threatening injuries, CBS17 reported.
Police Response And Ongoing Investigation
Raleigh police described the shooting as an ongoing investigation and said detectives remained on scene late into the night collecting evidence. At least four Raleigh police SUVs and an EMS unit were at the location, according to the department’s release, as reported by CBS17.
