Daytona Beach’s dining grid is about to light up. Orlando-based F&D Cantina is taking over the former Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery space at One Daytona, with plans to open in fall 2026. The coming attraction is set to feature a rooftop bar, a speakeasy-style tequila room, and multiple private dining areas, marking F&D’s first Volusia County location and a high-profile new anchor for the complex’s restaurant lineup.
In an announcement from ONE DAYTONA, the group confirmed that the cantina will fill the large, existing restaurant shell and “offer a standard dining area and patio, two dining areas for groups, a speakeasy tequila bar and a rooftop bar.” The release also included comments from founder Charly Robinson, who framed the move as a strategic push to expand the F&D brand into Volusia County.
What to expect inside
The buildout will be anything but small. Industry outlet WhatNow, citing the Orlando Business Journal, reports that F&D Cantina will span roughly 15,000 square feet and is expected to generate nearly 100 jobs. Plans call for a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, dedicated private event rooms, and a heavy emphasis on bar-forward features to match the cantina concept.
Brand background
The new spot is the latest project from F&D Restaurant Concepts, the Orlando hospitality group behind several local favorites, including F&D Prime and Uno Mas Cantina, which operate across Central Florida. The company also runs virtual brands and has steadily grown its portfolio in recent years, setting the stage for a larger, entertainment-minded footprint at One Daytona.
Why it matters to Daytona
The cantina’s arrival follows a stretch of tenant turnover at One Daytona and will serve as the chain’s first outpost in Volusia County, according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal.
Timeline and next steps
F&D Cantina is targeting a fall 2026 opening. In the same development wave, One Daytona notes that other newcomers, including Grain & Berry, Pink FRYDAY, and Tiano’s Wine Bar and Deli, are also on the way. Both the property and the restaurant group have listed media contacts and plan to share updates on their websites as construction, permitting, and hiring move forward.
