Jacksonville’s pastry game just leveled up. Paris Baguette has opened its first Northeast Florida bakery-café at St. Johns Town Center, bringing its lineup of pastries, cakes and Lavazza coffee to one of the city’s busiest shopping hubs. The new storefront is the brand’s initial footprint in the region and the kickoff to a planned local rollout, with the franchisee signaling that more sites are on the way in the Jacksonville area.
As reported by Jacksonville Business Journal, the Town Center café is Paris Baguette’s first location in Northeast Florida. The franchisee told the outlet he intends to follow the mall debut with additional bakeries in Jacksonville and nearby communities, positioning the St. Johns spot as a regional flagship that could help fuel further expansion.
According to Paris Baguette, the Jacksonville café is listed at 4624 Town Crossing Drive, Suite 125, with posted hours and a local phone number, although the company still tags the site as “Coming Soon.” The listing highlights dine-in service, delivery and catering options for the St. Johns Town Center location.
Menu and the build-out
The Jax Daily Record reported that the Town Center bakery-café is set to serve cakes, tarts, croissants, quiches and other pastries, giving shoppers one more reason to linger over coffee instead of sprinting back to the parking lot. City permits cleared a roughly 2,552-square-foot build-out for the space, and the paper noted that franchisee Wei Zhu holds regional rights and has been scouting additional locations in Jacksonville Beach and surrounding counties.
Where this fits in Paris Baguette’s growth
Paris Baguette has been in growth mode across the United States, with a corporate release saying the chain logged a high number of openings in 2025 and is preparing to celebrate its 400th North American café, which helps explain the focus on high-traffic shopping centers. PR Newswire frames the Jacksonville entry as one piece of that broader expansion push.
St. Johns Town Center’s own directory currently lists Paris Baguette as “coming soon,” and mall officials have not posted a public grand-opening date. The St. Johns Town Center store page shows the listing; customers can keep an eye on the mall directory or the brand’s site for an official opening announcement and any soft-opening hours.
