
A deadly stabbing early Tuesday turned a quiet stretch of Maple Shade Lane near Sardis Road North into an active crime scene in southeast Charlotte. First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene while medics and investigators worked in the area.
According to WCNC, a county medic said the victim was pronounced on site, and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police had not released any information about what led up to the stabbing. The department had also not said whether any arrests had been made, WCNC reported.
