A pre-dawn fight in a West Side parking lot left a man with multiple stab wounds and a teenage suspect in handcuffs early Saturday, according to San Antonio police.
The confrontation broke out around 6:05 a.m. in the 1300 block of Springvale Drive. Officers arrived to find a man suffering from several stab wounds to his upper body. Medics rushed him to a local hospital, where his injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
The victim told investigators he was trying to leave the parking lot when an unknown teen male confronted him, punched him, and then stabbed him with a sharp object, as reported by WOAI. The outlet reports the initial 911 call came in at about 6:05 a.m. and that officers located a suspect near the scene shortly afterward.
Suspect Arrested Near Scene
