A waterfront mansion on Miami Beach’s North Bay Road has traded hands for $23 million, and the seller is not a hedge fund titan or a crypto king, but a chiropractor.
The Mediterranean-style estate at 4340 North Bay Road sits on roughly a third of an acre, with about 100 feet of bay frontage, a private dock and an infinity pool shimmering behind it. The deal is the latest in a steady run of trophy-home action along this coveted stretch of Miami Beach.
According to the South Florida Business Journal, the seller is chiropractor Amir Kermani, who apparently spends his off-hours behind the wheel of race cars. Listing photos credited to The Corcoran Group show off the home’s resort-style setup, which likely did not hurt the final sale price.
What the House Offers
Per Corcoran, the home was built in 2008 and spans roughly 8,748 square feet of living space, with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. A grand double-height foyer sets the tone, leading into formal entertaining rooms and a dedicated theater.
The listing also touts a chef’s kitchen with commercial Viking appliances, a billiard room for off-the-water downtime and a three-car garage with room for car lifts, clearly designed with gearheads in mind. Outside, the bayfront setup includes an infinity pool and a newer dock, making the most of those 100 feet of water frontage. The property has also appeared on MLS portals, including Redfin.
Where It Fits on North Bay Road
North Bay Road has become a go-to playground for high-end buyers and developers, a trend chronicled over the years by outlets such as The Real Deal. Deep-pocketed purchasers have been chasing wide bay views while builders reposition older homes into new trophy properties.
Miami-Dade County property appraiser records show that an Amir Kermani entity bought the lot for about $2.6 million in 2004, and that the house was built in 2008, a paper trail that highlights just how much values have climbed on this slice of waterfront. For buyers who want a move-in ready bayfront spread rather than a teardown project, the $23 million sale price suggests appetite for top-shelf product on North Bay Road is still running strong.
The Corcoran Group had previously marketed the property with an asking price as high as $30 million last year, with Julian Johnston listed as the agent on MLS. The buyer’s identity had not been disclosed in the listing or public filings at the time of reporting, according to available county records.
