Rise Brands quietly opened No Soliciting, its members-only cocktail club, on South State Street this week, turning a renovated storefront into a speakeasy-style lounge that pulls the hush-hush bourbon-bar vibe out of downtown Columbus and Dublin and plants it firmly in the suburbs.
Inside, members and invited guests can expect dimly lit rooms, curated whiskey lists and tighter privacy than a typical bar, plus new space carved out for cigars, cards and light plates. It is the kind of place where lingering over a pour is the whole point, not something you squeeze in before last call.
Per Columbus Business First, the Westerville club at 769 S. State St. is the third No Soliciting outpost and operates as a members-only cocktail lounge. The outlet reports the club opened this month and that Rise Brands is now fielding membership inquiries for the new venue.

The Westerville location adds a few bells and whistles to the No Soliciting formula. The new outpost includes an atrium, a card room and an expanded cigar program, according to 614NOW. Rise Brands' site notes that the club hangs on to the brand’s signature touches, including low-key exteriors and discreet entry rituals, while broadening its food program to feature shareable small plates.
Rise Brands' Expansion Across Central Ohio
For Rise Brands, this is another move in a broader regional play. The company, which also owns and operates Pins Mechanical Co. and 16-Bit Bar + Arcade, has been steadily expanding its footprint across the Midwest. In a press release via PR Newswire, Rise Brands said it has additional No Soliciting locations in the pipeline and recently reshuffled its leadership to support that growth.

The South State Street property had been under renovation for months, and local curiosity kicked in early. Community reporting in October flagged work at the former sewing-shop site at 769 S. State St., according to The Westerville News. Uptown Westerville leaders say the club introduces a new late-night option to the South State corridor and is likely to nudge evening foot traffic toward the stretch’s existing restaurants and shops.
