
Just after 3 p.m. Saturday, a quiet stretch of San Antonio’s far West Side turned into an active crime scene when police rushed to the area near Blue Oak Lane and Pinn Road following reports of gunfire. Officers arrived to find one person suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and medics rushed the victim to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Police quickly locked down the neighborhood, setting up a perimeter while officers canvassed the area and checked nearby homes. According to KABB, officers on scene said the suspect may be barricaded in a nearby home. They asked the public to steer clear of the area as detectives worked the block and searched for witnesses.
