Houston Police Department Sgt. David Rose said officers were called around 8:20 p.m. Sunday after multiple 911 callers reported a person in the roadway, according to FOX 26 Houston. The first driver left the scene and, if identified, could face a failure-to-stop-and-render-aid charge. Sgt. Rose told the station he does not believe the elderly man was intoxicated.

Police say several occupants of the Tundra suffered severe injuries, and at least one juvenile in the truck had a chipped tooth.
