
A stretch of Kennedy Street NW turned into a crime scene on Sunday after a 16-year-old was shot outside a store on the 700 block, according to police. The teen was taken to a hospital in conscious and breathing condition while officers briefly locked down the block so medics and detectives could work the scene.
